We suggest that guests arrive by 7:00 PM to allow for seating and a prompt beginning to the ceremony at 7:15 PM.
Saturday, October 10, 2026. Our wedding ceremony will begin at 7:15 PM at the Museum of the City of New York (1220 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10029). The entire evening — ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception — will take place at the museum, concluding at midnight.
Guests should arrive at 7:00 PM. The ceremony begins at 7:15 PM in the Rotunda on the ground floor. Cocktail hour follows at 8:00 PM in the Outdoor Courtyard. Dinner will be served at 9:00 PM in the Marble Court on the 2nd floor, and the reception kicks off at 10:00 PM back in the Rotunda. The evening concludes at 12:00 AM.
Black Tie — classic, elegant and glamourous styles that match the formality of the evening.
For gentlemen: A tuxedo with a black bow tie, white dress shirt, and black formal shoes (patent leather or polished dress shoes).
For ladies: A floor-length gown or an elegant formal evening dress, dressy heels or formal flats, and refined accessories and eveningwear styling.
Absolutely. Our wedding will feature a premium open bar including selection of wine, beer and spirits including vodka, gin, rum, scotch, bourbon, rye and tequila.
Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception will all take place at the Museum of the City of New York. You'll move between different spaces within the museum throughout the evening — from the Rotunda to the 5th Avenue Terrace to the Marble Court and back to the Rotunda.
Yes. Cocktail hour will take place on the 5th Avenue Terrace. In the event of inclement weather, we have a rain plan in place and cocktail hour will be moved indoors.
The Museum of the City of New York is conveniently accessible by public transportation and rideshare services.
By Subway
6 Train — Take the Lexington Ave. line to 103rd St., then walk 3 blocks West.
2 or 3 Train — Take to Central Park North/110th St., then walk one block East to 5th Avenue and head South to E. 104th St.
By Bus
The M1, M2, M3, M4, and M106 buses all stop at 104th St.
Car Drop-off
Please use the primary entrance located at 1220 5th Avenue between E. 103rd and E. 104th St.
Those requiring ramp accessibility enter at E. 104th St.
We recommend building in extra travel time due to potential traffic.
There are several parking garages located near the museum on the Upper East Side. We recommend checking parking apps or nearby garage options in advance, as street parking will be limited.
Yes. The museum is fully accessible for all the event spaces. The accessible exterior entrance is located at E. 104th Street.
